Garlic and Broccoli Pasta

This delicious garlic and broccoli pasta easily comes together with simple ingredients found in your pantry! It's fantastic for weeknight dinners and meal prep.
Servings: 6 people

Ingredients

  • 1 lb orrechiette pasta substitute any pasta of choice
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 7 cloves garlic sliced
  • 2 cups frozen broccoli
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • salt and pepper to tast

Instructions

  • Boil a large pot of water for the pasta. Cook according to package directions.
  • In the meantime, pour olive oil into cold skillet and add garlic cloves to the pan. Heat over medium until the garlic has turned golden brown, about 10 minutes.
  • Add 1/2 of water to a saucepan and add frozen broccoli. Cook until broccoli is very soft and cuts easily. Remove from heat and shred with forks until small bits remain.
  • Combine the pasta with the garlic oil and broccoli. Add crushed red pepper flakes and salt and pepper, if desired.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
