A common area of confusion in the world of custom cakes is cost. Some wonder why there’s a price difference from the grocery stores’ offerings. What they don’t see is the difference in quality, taste, presentation, and time (not to mention all the hidden costs of packaging, gas, electric, water, etc.) Custom cakes take hours to make, even for the simple designs. With inflation, the costs of ingredients has also skyrocketed, ultimately affecting pricing.
